A person reads every message. Say which screen name it is about.
In the app, Settings → About → report a bug starts an email with your app version, iOS version and phone model already in it. Say what happened and what you expected.
On the sign-on screen, tap forgot password? and enter your email. We send a six-digit code; type it in with a new password and you are signed in. No code? Check your spam folder, or tap send another code.
Check your spam folder. The app waits on its Almost There screen and has a Send it again button. Once you open the link — on any device — come back to the app and you are in.
Tap the speech bubble with the ! under it, then Report this away message. Every away message somebody else wrote has one — in the feed, on the Hall of Fame, and on their profile — and every profile has a Report button. The message disappears for you straight away, and stays gone whatever happens next. A moderator sees exactly what you reported, and reports are acted on within 24 hours.
Tap the ! bubble under anything they posted, then Block — or tap Block on their profile. You stop seeing each other entirely, and any buddy connection ends. A block cannot be undone in the app yet; write to us if you need one taken back.
On your profile, Edit profile → Privacy. You leave search and the public boards, and only your buddies see your away message. People can still add you if they type your exact screen name.
If it was your away message or your about-me, your profile says so, and why. If you think we got it wrong, write to us.
Turn them on in the app: Settings → Alerts for likes and for whichever buddies you choose, or alert me on a new away message on a buddy's profile. Then check that iOS allows them: Settings → Notifications → AwayMsg on your phone.
Edit profile → Screen Name, as often as you like. Your buddies keep you; they just see the new name.
On your profile, the Account window has Delete account. If you signed up with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm. Everything disappears from the app straight away, and for thirty days you can sign back in to change your mind. After that it is gone for good.
